How to Know If Your Home Is Spiritually Attuned

A personal reflection and guide to creating a sacred space that helps you remember who you are.

I just got back from a trip—and as I walked through the door of my home, I felt something shift.
Not because I had changed locations, but because I was suddenly surrounded by little soul whispers.

A crystal on my nightstand.
A candle by my bathtub.
A handwritten mantra above the sink.
These weren’t just decorations. They were reminders.
Reminders that I am more than a body moving through to-do lists. I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

🌿 Why It Matters

It’s so easy to forget.
To forget our power.
To forget our purpose.
To forget that we are energetic, intuitive beings in a world that often rewards only the logical and visible.

We live in a society that constantly tells us what our purpose should be:

  • Be productive.

  • Be profitable.

  • Be predictable.

But none of that touches what your soul came here to express.
And here’s the thing: you don’t need to renounce society or rebel to return to yourself.
You just need to remember.
And your home—your sacred space—can help you do that.

🕯️ How I Spiritually Attune My Home (And How You Can Too)

Your home doesn’t have to look like a yoga retreat or a Pinterest-perfect altar to hold spiritual energy.
It just needs to speak to your soul.

Here are a few ways I attune my space, and maybe some of these will resonate with you:

🪞1. Mantras in My Workspace

I keep my mantras in my office—because I want to be reminded that even my work is spiritual.
The way I show up for clients, answer emails, and move through my day is all energy. It's all sacred.

One of my favorite mantras taped above my desk reads:

“I am here to live freely, love deeply, and trust my spirit.”

It pulls me out of the rush, the pressure, and the autopilot grind.
It reminds me: I’m not here to perform. I’m here to be.

🧘 2. Corners of Calm

I have little nooks throughout my home:

  • A cushion by the window where I can journal or breathe.

  • A cozy chair draped with a blanket where I can sip tea and read something that nourishes my spirit.
These aren’t “productive” spaces. They’re sacred ones. They exist so I can be, not just do.

🔥 3. Elemental Anchors

I bring the elements into my home:

  • Fire: candles, incense, warmth

  • Water: a bowl near the front door, reminding me to cleanse the day as I enter

  • Air: essential oils, open windows, music that moves me

  • Earth: crystals, wood, plants, stones from hikes
These aren’t props. They’re tools to ground, awaken, and balance my energy.

📿 4. Spiritual Symbols and Objects

You might see a Buddha statue, a mala, a photo of my teacher, or a feather I found on a walk.
These objects aren't there to impress anyone. They are there to pull me inward.

✨ Your Home Should Remind You Who You Are

If you walk into your space and feel the urge to numb out, tune out, or collapse into the noise of distraction—your home may be serving the world’s narrative, not yours.

Ask yourself:

  • Does my space encourage peace or overstimulation?

  • Do I have places that invite rest, reflection, or ritual?

  • What energy do I walk into… and what energy do I want to walk into?

This is your expression.
Not the government’s.
Not a religion’s.
Not your past conditioning.

You can be a spiritual being and a responsible, grounded person.
You can be unpredictable to the systems that want to control you—and still deeply in alignment with the laws of love, nature, and respect.

🌬️ Final Thoughts

You don’t have to move mountains.
You just need to place reminders.
Little sacred breadcrumbs that call your spirit back when the world tries to make you forget.

Your home can be the portal to your most aligned, most free, most you expression.

And that, my love, is sacred.
